Dan Savage has created a monster.
OK. I might be a bit dramatic, but Savage Love has taught me more about sex than any other source of rousing information (don’t make me list them).
The evolution of Savage Love might be bringing it to the TV medium, HBO in specific. The possible show, to which HBO has commited a pilot episode, will be cut from the same salacious cloth as its print parent, providing a forum helmed by Savage where “sex is the filter.”
“I'm hoping to bring a new kind of conversation to TV about sex—an honest conversation, one that's informed without being (too) wonky, funny without being (too) cruel, sexy without being (too) cheesy,” wrote Savage on The Slog yesterday.
Tickets are available for next Thursday’s taping, that is if my friends and I don’t swoop them up in the next five minutes…
