Jennifer Hudson fought through the tears to deliver a powerful and emotional rendition of the song Whitney Houston made famous, "I Will Always Love You" at Sunday night's Grammy Awards. Grab the tissues and watch video of Jennifer's moving tribute, after the jump.

How do you feel about the choice for Jennifer to do only a portion of the song?

(Original story)

Jennifer HudsonWe're still in the deep throngs of sadness as we reflect on the life of a true music legend. Yet, as they say in this town called Hollywood, "the show must go on." And, tonight, the 54th  Annual Grammy Awards are still scheduled to forge forth as planned despite the legend's death...although we can expect the proceedings to have a much more somber tone.

Jennifer Hudson is expected to perform as part of a tribute to Whitney, but no word yet on how Houston's untimely and tragic death will be a part of the annual awards show held at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. Although many insiders say it is too soon for any kind of "full-blown" tribute.

Grammys host L.L. Cool J is also expected to change up his act due to Houston's death, and make remarks on behalf of the music industry.

As of 11 a.m. PST, still no word on the cause of death, though Whitney's body has finally been removed from the Beverly Hilton and brought to the L.A. Coroner's office.

I can't even believe it's true. I still feel like it's a dream. Even though she's had her troubles, it just seems surreal.

Junkies die every day-I feel bad for the ones that die alone and forgotten-not the rich and pampered.
