Updated Thursday, 4:30 p.m. (with video)

A clever glitter-bombing of Marcus Bachmann's "ex gay" clinic in Minnesota was orchestrated today by a group of guerrilla gays dressed as Barbarians (Marcus is recently noted to have called gay youth coming to his clinic "barbarians."). Video, pics and details follow!

The glitter-bombing was organized by Nick Espinosa, the activist who gained social prominence after he drizzled Newt Gingrich with the fairy dust.

When inside Bachmann & Associates, the ragtag group of Barbaric Glitter Gays reportedly chanted, "You can't pray away the gay—baby, I was born this way!"

I'm not the most fervent supporter of glitter bombing, but when it comes to Marcus Bachmann's "ex gay" ministries, I find today's action totally appropriate.

TY!TY! I shared. We need more people standing up, with a sense of humor. Peaceful discord...with sparkles!

You can't pray away the gay (although I suspect that the only thing Bachmann actually accomplishes is preying on the gay) and you can't ever fully vacuum glitter out of the rug.

I like it. Silly and harmless fun that makes the point of how ridiculous Bachmann and others truly are. Sparkly Barbarians one, homophobes too scared to even address the issue zero!

Glitter is definitely the herpes of the craft world... just when you think it's gone, oh look more pops up out of no where. I wonder if zerorez can get that out. LOL
