Our friend Just Jared had the opportunity to ask Trevor how he felt about his character being chosen to play gay. “It was cool when they came to me with it, I was honored, flattered that hey thought I could take on something like this and handle it in the way it's being written and what we shot so far is done very, very smart, very intelligent."
Underscoring the immense responsibility he feels he's been handed Trevor went on to his Twitter page to continue discussing Teddy's upcoming "coming out" on the show.
“Acceptance, by family, friends, society and self is just one of the concerns the character will be going through. It is part of life, and it should be portrayed," Trevor Twatted.
