And estimated 3,000 people ran a one-mile course in downtown Salt Lake City (home to the Mormon church), circling past the Capitol building. Our bags are officially packed. Details and more shots of hotties after the jump.
Organizer Nate Porter says the goal of the Saturday Undie Run was to organize people frustrated by the conservative nature of the state's politics.
While organizers prohibited nudity, many people found themselves in less than flattering outfits. But, as the pictures depict, there was enough eye candy to sweeten the sight.
Many people came with their own political messages literally written all over them. A popular theme was equal rights for LGBT people, which is both relevant for this day in age and is relevant geographically, since it occured close to the anti-gay Mormon church headquarters.
We suggest that this happen in every major city across the U.S...in the name of civil rights, of course.
