Looking like Lady Bunny 25 lbs. ago and on muscle relaxers, a pre-concussion Lady Gaga spoke candidly about her one-sided feud with Madonna to a New Zealand crowd.

Without mentioning the Material Girl by name (which, like the Bloody Mary game of childhood, puts the speaker at risk of being attacked by a ghostly pale sinewy creature who feeds on the young), Gaga took the high road after months of Madonna making "reductive" happen.

"That doesn't make me feel good at all," Gaga said in reference to tearing others down. "That just makes me feel like I'm not a good human being ... I don't even want to fight back because it's more important to me to keep writing music. Because that's really all I care about, is the music ... things are really different than they were 25 years ago, and that's what makes "Born This Way" so relevant for me. We're socially in a different place and it's OK, we don't have to all slice and hate each other anymore."

Who do you think does the feud better? The diva method executed by the 53-year old nipples of Madonna or the heartfelt plea for peace issued by Gaga?

Fast forward to the 2:30 mark for the statement:

Classy gal. This goes to show that the people who dislike you, who are sometimes mean to you, or who tear you down are probably threaten by your ability to ignore hateful remarks, your success, and your general ability to focus on what's important the music and your fans. I love Madonna and respect her but its really refreshing to see the new Pop Queen being appreciative to her fans, loving, and focused on her art. (")(")

I am not a fan of either performer, but it is clear Stefani Germanotta is infinitely more musically talented than Madonna Ciccone. She is also, apparently, classier.

If you watch the actual interview where Madonna said "reductive" you will see Madonna complimented Gaga many times. The interviewer kept pushing Madonna for something juicy and Madonna responded coyly with reductive. Seriously, isn't there room for both?
