Pat Robertson explains that the Bible clearly got it wrong with regards to slavery.

Pat Robertson: "...we have moved in our conception of the value of human beings over the years until we realized [that] slavery was terribly wrong."

Hmm...sounds like Pat wants to have it both ways?

If you can choose to ignore the Bible on one topic, based on the evolution of our understanding as human beings, it only seems fair that we'd be able to ignore it on another, right?

Well yeah, if you are intelligent...but there are lots of things in the Bible they ignore but continue to insist that homosexuality is the great evil.
