Newt Gingrich was heckled by gay activists of the Minnesota-based Gliterrati during a campaign stop in Minneapolis. Unfortunately, the crowd quickly turned on the LGBT high school student activists, drowning them out in a chorus of boos before their messages were acknowledged by the faltering GOP candidate. At a stop at the Mall of America, Newt was subjected to homo heckling from high school students Gabe Aderhold and Issac Rothberg. Aderhold interrupted the republican candidate's stump speech by shouting "Hey Newt, why do you support discrimination against gays and lesbians all the time? Serial hypocrisy!" Rothberg immediately followed the question with, "No hate in our state, why do you discriminate?"
