I really, really, really hope this is true! Word from across the pond (via’s London DailyMail) that Mariah Carey was asked to come to town and light the Christmas tree in a major shopping district. MC was happy to oblige the Brits, but only if her demands were met.
How much money did she want for the appearance you ask? Oh, money ain’t a thing to Mariah. She wants kittens. Actual kittens. And doves. 100 of them.
Mariah’s rider apparently called for:
20 white kittens
100 white doves
A pink carpet (not red!)
A Rolls Royce for transportation
80 bodyguards
Butterfly shaped confetti
A Pink podium to stand at
Bottled water
A magical wand to “wave” at the tree
Even further proof that Mariah Carey is in fact a 12-year-old girl. Oh, and in case you were wondering, the DailyMail reports that British health officials refused to allow the use of the animals. No word on the magic wand.
