Maybe he missed the ire of the people after the labor union hysteria died down, or maybe he's just a total douchebag at heart; whatever the reason, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has once again amped-up his antics by trying to end hospital rights for LGBT couples.
On Friday, Gov. Walker filed a motion asking a judge to stop defending the 2009 decision that has allowed same-sex couples hospital visitation rights and end-of-life decisions.
"Governor Walker, in deference to the legal opinion of the attorney general that the domestic partner registry...is unconstitutional, does not believe the public interest requires a continued defense of this law," reads the brief, filed by Brian Hagedorn, the governor's chief counsel.
Homophobic group Wisconsin "Family" Action is currently suing the state to end the 2009 law. Thanks to Gov. Walker's motion it has a better chance of success.
