Carnival, anyone? If you are planning a trip to South America LAN Airlines wants to make it easier for LGBT travelers to decide where and when to go, stay and eat by launching a new website.

LANdiversity.com, launched just in time to book tickets to Carnival in Rio this February, offers travelers detailed destination guides to the hottest destinations in South America along with a thorough list of upcoming events not to be missed. Additionally the website keeps travelers updated with recent LGBT news in South America.

LAN has been a major supporter of the LGBT community for a number of years. In 2009, LAN became the first Latin American airline to develop an advertising campaign specifically targeting the LGBT community. The campaign highlighted the importance of diversity and showcased South America's diversity.

"At LAN Airlines, we pride ourselves on the great diversity of our staff, our customers, and above all the great destinations that we serve. LAN has hubs in some of South America's best current and emerging LGBT destinations, including Buenos Aires, Santiago and Lima," the airline noted on their website.
