Let's be honest, when we're out at a bar we're all in search of a bartender with a stiff one right? Naturally, we're talking about the drinks they make. The City of Palm Springs is seeking the best bartenders at top LGBT clubs across North America by challenging them to create Palm Springs inspired cocktails and you're invited to take part in the fun.
Kicking off on Leap Day, Palm Springs and Stoli ambassadors will host Cocktail Challenges at LGBT clubs in Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, New York City, Portland, Sacramento, San Jose, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver.
At each club, bartenders will compete and create their own signature Palm Springs-infused cocktail, and will be evaluated on taste, presentation and name. The bartenders will also be judged on creativity and attire, as well as presentation and audience participation. Club attendees will receive Palm Springs swag including free hotel stays or a trip to the Cocktail Challenge finale in Palm Springs.
The winning bartender from each city will win a trip to Palm Springs to compete in the grand finale on May 31, 2012 in Palm Springs.
