If there’s a red carpet, you can bet on it, bet on it, bet on it that eye-catching, paparazzi-magnet minx PHOEBE PRICE will be there, showing off a carefully calculated mix of cleavage and leg. Never mind that she’s never had a starring role (yet); she’s a Southern girl who’s famous for being famous, and she knows it. We caught up with Dlisted’s “Hot ‘Babe’ Of The Year” just before she jetted off to Cannes to premiere her perfume, Phoebe’s Phantasy…and what a sweet, sweet Phantasy!

PHOEBE PRICE: Ugly Betty. It’s an inspiring show. I love the whole concept of it. I love looking at the fashion. I’ve lived all over the world for the last four years—I lived in South Africa, Milan and Greece—and in Milan, I fell in love with fashion. I’m trying to stay away from reality TV, though, although I’ve had four offers this week!
2. Describe your style in three words.
Funky, fun, sophisticated.
3. What was your worst fashion faux pas?
I couldn’t just tell you one, because I’m in ’em all the time! Under my short dresses, I do wear underwear, but sometimes the thong string is really, really small. And a lot of people say, “She said she doesn’t do nudes or topless, and now she’s showing her butt everywhere!” So I’ve learned to go get bigger thongs just to let people know I am wearing underwear. Lately I’ve had the worst time with my dresses flying up when I’m wearing a nude thong! Two years ago, I could walk around nekkid underneath my stuff and no one cared, and it’s like, now I have to wear underwear!
4. Scenario: A good friend calls you with a red-carpet emergency. She just got invited to a big premiere and she needs to turn heads. What are the three most important pieces of advice you’d give her?
Wear something bold, in a bright color. Wear something that either shows a lot of leg or it shows some boob. If you’re showing a whole lot of leg, try not to show as much boob. If you’re showing a lot of boob, try to not show as much leg—you know, kind of balance it out. That’s something I’ve had to learn how to do. [Laughs] Because usually I’m all boobs and all leg! Also, let people come to you. It’s not all about how you look on the outside—it’s how you feel on the inside. So you could put on anything you want to, and it could be the most beautiful dress or the most expensive, and it will look horrible. You could put on a dress from Target and feel like a million dollars. So whatever you do, wear it well. Have confidence. Wear it like you own the place, even if you don’t.
5. My favorite comfort food is: __________.
All of it! My mom’s turkey and dressing. So good! And all my friends beg to come over and eat it.
6. You always make a big splash at Cannes. What is the most important thing you’ve learned to say in French?
Comment allez-vous? “How are you?” Or: Voulez-vous quelque chose? “Can I get you a drink?” ’Cause if it doesn’t work too good, I can always say “Voulez-vous quelque chose?” and slip out the back door!
7. New Kids On The Block reunion: good or bad for the universe?
Bad for the universe! I mean, come on. Some things go out of style for a reason, and I think that’s one of them.
8. Who was your first movie star crush?
I guess it was with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. All my life I’ve just really loved it. And you know the little boy in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—I have no idea what his name is, but I always used to want to have his life and live in these candy and dream fields and eat the chocolate water and everything. I know he’s not a big movie star or anything, but that was like my first crush.
9. Justin Timberlake or Madonna?
Madonna. I really look up to a woman like that because she’s so strong and she knows what she wants. It doesn’t matter how old she gets. It’s the confidence and the spirit and the glamour that really shines through her.
10. Which Sex snd the City diva are you?
Probably Carrie Bradshaw. She loves shopping. She loves Jimmy Choos and Manolo Blahniks, and I love all that too. The designer outfits—you know, every day I leave the house, I’m always dressed in something, because I feel like that’s part of my personality, even if it’s just a little slip dress that I put on.
11. The first time I knew I was famous was…
Well, I’ve always thought I was famous—in my own mind! [Laughs] I figured I could do it a little bit different than everyone else. I’ve kind of got the fame side of it first, and now I’m able to turn it around to show people you can actually become a movie star—or anything that you set your mind to. You can always do it.
