Sarah Palin's "Gay Friend" Supports 'Duck Dynasty' Star & Palin Admits She Never Read GQ Comments
It came as no surprise when Sarah Palin jumped to the defense of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson--beyond her Facebook post, you could also see her delivering an impassioned defense on any (FOX) news outlet that would have her.
What was more comical than usual though was the admission that Palin actually never even read Robertson's comments to GQ--and you can bet, she hasn't taken the time to watch this clip of his vitriolic anti-gay sermon.
When pressed by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren whether the language Robertson used when talking about his opposition to homosexuality was graphic and offensive, Palin admitted she didn’t know what Robertson had said.
“I haven’t read the article. I don’t know exactly how he said it,” Palin said Monday on Fox News’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”
And yet she, of course, feels the need to talk about it.
It gets even better. Palin's also now claiming to have "a gay friend" who's totally Team Phil and who's planning to boycott A&E for their punishment of the series star.
Palin tells FOX News:
"In fact, a friend of mine who happens to be gay, she emailed me to say she is outraged at A&E for the hypocrisy here, for the things that they air on their program that she finds offensive, yet A&E doesn't fire a star or somebody involved in their programming based on what they said but they would when it comes to Phil on Duck Dynasty and this friend, she said that she would boycott A&E and that network, and uh, um, she's not the only one."
Let's not forget that she could've been one heartbeat away from the presidency, folks.
