Wells Fargo "Gladly" Welcomes Porn Stars After They Get Shafted By Chase
Wells Fargo has seen an opportunity arise in Chase Bank's hypocritical and confusing stunt that apparently canceled consumer accounts held by popular porn stars. Chase itself suggested that its customers who happen to work in the adult film industry find a new bank by the beginning of May, so its representatives shouldn't complain that WF wants to be just that bank.
When asked for comment on Chase's gaffe, a spokesperson for Wells Fargo told TMZ, "Of course we encourage these industry workers to come to us with their business and we will gladly help them."
My partner and I discussed closing our Chase accounts over the weekend due to the bank's recent Puritanical influence in discriminatory business practices. Has anyone else thought about or made that decision based on last week's news?
