Video: Gay U.S. Reporter Kicked Off Russian-Funded Network After Blasting Country's Anti-Gay Laws

When reporter James Kirchick joined a panel of guests on Russian TV (which is funded by the Russian government), it was originally believed that Kirchick would be providing insight into the Bradley Manning WikiLeaks case and his sentencing, but Kirchick had other ideas!

Kirchick can immediately be seen at the top of the segment putting on a pair of rainbow "gay Pride" suspenders and he quickly launched into a denouncement of Russia's anti-gay laws, saying, “Being here on a Kremlin-funded propaganda network, I’m going to wear my gay pride suspenders and  speak  out against the horrific, anti-gay legislation that Vladimir Putin has signed into law."

It's pretty awesome.

Kirchick also slammed the journalists, questioning how they could sleep at night while ignoring what's happening to the LGBT community.

“You have 24 hours a day to lie about America, I am going to tell the truth with my two minutes,” Kirkchick continued after RT hosts tried to cut him off.

Kirchick was subsequently removed from the segment, which the RT host explained was because he refused to stay on topic.

Kirchick later Tweeted that RT halted his car service, he wrote:

“True fact: (RT) just called taxi company that took me to studio to drop me off on the side of the highway on way to Stockholm airport."

We guess Putin's not happy!

What do you think of Kirchick speaking out in support of the LGBT community on the Russian airwaves, Instincters?

Simple... Amazing, but the best word to describe this man: BRAVE! WTG!!!!

Another sacking.  Only 7 million more gays to erase. This is a blatant grab for the Russian Orthodox Church voting bloc.  Considering he authorised the genocide of 200,000 Chechnyans, it's clear that Putin has not the slightest concern for the welfare of children.

What a hero - thank you.
