Matt Bomer Is 'Really Proud' Of Wentworth Miller For Publicly Coming Out

Matt Bomer, who came out publicly in February 2012, praised Wentworth Miller for his official coming out announcement, which coincided with Miller's denouncement of Russia's anti-gay laws.

Bomer spoke with E! News on Thursday night at New York's Heineken U.S. Open kickoff. On Miller, Bomer said: "Wow, I think its really bold and incredibly classy how he came out and did it. I am really proud of him. Its very reflective of his amazing character."

Bomer also reflected on the progress the LGBT community is currently making here in the U.S., saying, "I hope all these laws continue to pass but we still have a long way to go."

It's great to see Miller joining the ranks and gaining support from more of Hollywood's out and proud gay men. Let's hope more of their publicly closeted contemporaries follow their example!

For what it's worth, I am really proud of two of the greatest looking guys in Hollywood.  "White Collar" was filmed on my block last week.  I'm sorry I missed you, Matt.
