'Unauthorized Saved by the Bell' TV Movie To Air On Lifetime!

We're so excited! We're so excited! We're...getting an unauthorized behind-the-scenes Saved By The Bell television-movie, y'all!!

From The Hollywood Reporter:

Lifetime has set The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, centered on the off-camera experiences of the six young stars of the 1990s comedy, for a Labor Day premiere.

Premiering Monday, Sept. 1, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story promises to expose the challenges of growing up under the public scrutiny while trying to maintain a squeaky clean image of their characters on- and off-screen.

Cast by Saved by the Bell's original casting director Robin Lippin, the television movie stars Dylan Everett (Degrassi: The Next Generation) as Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Sam Kindseth (Shameless) asDustin Diamond, Julian Works (Paranormal Activity) as Mario Lopez, Alyssa Lynch as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Tiera Skovbye (Supernatural) as Elizabeth Berkley and Taylor Russell McKenzie(Blink) as Lark Voorhies.

Front Street Pictures and Ringaling Productions are producing the TV movie, which is executive produced by Harvey Kahn (Flowers in the Attic) and Stephen Bulka (Dear Mom, Love Cher). Jason Pepeyre directs, from a teleplay penned by Ron Mc Gee(The Nine Lives of Chloe King).

Just so long as they find reasons for 'Mario Lopez' to spend a majority of his time in as little (and as tight-fitting) as possible.

Mario isnt in the film. Another actor will be playing Mario Lopez. Did u not read the article.

I did. Hence 'Mario Lopez' (note the quotes) - let's just say I hope the actor playing him fills out the role correctly.
