Mark Zuckerberg & 700 Facebook Employees March In S.F. Pride

A few days after cheering on the Supreme Court's DOMA & Prop 8 decisions while launching a new "Pride" emoticon on Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg marched, well, trolley-ed, along with a very historic San Francisco Pride Parade on Sunday.

The L.A. Times reports:

Facebook said employees wore shirts of all colors to represent the symbol of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. They were also joined by same-sex marriage advocate Brendon Ayanbadejo, a former linebacker with the Baltimore Ravens.

Several large tech companies have come out in favor of same-sex marriages, but Zuckerberg was one of the few CEOs to voice his support and participate in the parade.

"I'm proud that our country is moving in the right direction, and I'm happy for so many of my friends and their families. #PrideConnectsUs," Zuckerberg wrote in a status update on Facebook last week.

Thanks, Zuck!

I'm sorry, but I see this as "damage control", and naivete if you buy it. For over the years, the Facebook police have become notorious for censoring gay content.
