Ducati Dealership Puts Sexy Men In Heels For New Ad Campaign

Want to attract an entirely new (and, usually, affluent) market to a product typically reserved for the most hetero xy chromosome holders out there? Toss the female models' headshots in the wastebasket and get the men into hair and makeup and ready to shoot!

A Portland Ducati dealership is about to have a flood of new customers after re-shooting one of its popular ad campaigns with men who, shot-for-shot, recreate the seductive motorcycle poses female model Kylie made famous.

Asphalt and Rubber explains:

When we saw Portland-based Ducati dealer MotoCorsa do a photo shoot with a lovely lady named Kylie and a Ducati 1199 Panigale, we passed on running the photos. Then something interesting happened: MotoCorsa did a follow-up photo shoot, this time with men from around the shop, recreating the shots from the photo shoot with Kylie.

Perhaps not the most flattering photos we’ve ever seen, it is however a delicious role-reversal, not to mention showing some good humor from the gentlemen involved.

So, Instincters, who wore it better?

Love this! Good marketing, I saw this last year and I dont think I'll ever forget it LOL! (wish the guys could be a bit more ripped though)

If they're trying to attract a "attract an entirely new (and, usually, affluent) market to a product typically reserved for the most hetero xy chromosome holders out there", then this is not the way to do it.
What makes then think gay men want to see men dressed up as women?

Are you kidding? What gay man wouldn't want to see men dressed up as women?

I think this is brilliant!!!

Need to work on better models...

what the guys couldn't wear a higher heel o.0?

#4 I miss Portland!

I've owned lots of bikes over the years.  A BMW 1100 RS was the last one.

Ducati will be the next!  Good for them for having fun with it.

The bike.  Hands down the bike.
