Cher: 'Judy Garland's Got Nothing On Me'

Cher pulled her gay icon card out and proudly displayed it while accepting the 2013 Legend Award from U.K. gay mag Attitude. Fresh off her riff that "there's no new Cher," the sassy diva laid her rightful stake to the crown of the gay community while tossing Judy Garland under the bus and revealing the secret to a lasting homosexual fandom.

“Gay men especially … either love you or they don’t even notice that you’re on the planet,” Cher said. “I think what you guys like, is you like a strong woman that’s having a breakdown constantly, and that certainly is me. Judy Garland’s got nothing on me.”

Is Cher right? Do you think gay men like strong women who are constantly breaking down?

No. The reason why many of us love Judy Garland is because she can sing. I love & adore Cher, but Judy Garland (musically) leaves Cher knocked out cold, in a backwoods ditch. Long live Judy Garland!
