Woman To Hand Out Fat-Shaming Letters to Halloween Trick Or Treaters In Place Of Candy

When you're a kid, what could be worse than receiving an apple or a mini toothbrush in your holy Halloween bounty? Seems like a woman in West Fargo, North Dakota has found the answer: letters to parents that fat shames kids the scrooge deems overweight.

It started when the woman called into Fargo's Y-94 radio station to let her community know that she will only be giving children she finds thin candy. Everyone else gets the following letter:

Happy Halloween and Happy Holidays Neighbor!

You are probably wondering why your child had this note: have you ever heard the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child?"" I am disappointed in "the village" of Fargo Moorhead. West Fargo.

Your child is, in my opinion, moderately obese, and should not be consuming sugar and treats to the extent of some children this Halloween season.

My hope is that you will step up as a parent and ration candy this Halloween and not allow your child to continue these unhealthy eating habits.

Thank You.

During her radio interview, the woman added:

"I just want to send a message to the parents of kids that are really overweight... I think it's just really irresponsible of parents to send them out looking for free candy just 'cause all the other kids are doing it."

What do you think about this woman's trick or treating tactic?

Hey, Ashke & Wayne! May I give you a hand on this one?? Please, oh please??? :D

Although I think it is no ones business, I think that someone needs to state the obvious sometimes, and maybe, just maybe, it will make parents open their eyes. #raisingworldwar3

Well someone is getting her house egged and toilet papered. Too bad I don't live there cause I would do it myself. And this so called village conscience what does she look like is she the perfect size according to the weight scale?.......I bet not

I am with you. Eggs, toilet paper, shaving cream, dog shit lit in a bag...
