I am still trying to wrap my brain around some of my questions and still be compassionate with people making the changes they need to make for themselves. the only people I personally know who have transitioned do not identify as transgender. They actually identify and live as the gender they have transitioned to. If this is the case with people who have completed the transition why is there so much focus on the identity of being trans? I understand for those in transition, but once complete, why would the need for trans-identification be necessary to everyone. Why not just be a man or a woman instead of always living somewhere in between? Most of my gay friends like me have the same question but are afraid to ask or have a voice that is not hyper-politically correct. Just asking questions oftentimes in this age get you bashed, verbally lashed, or labeled a "__phobe" of some sort.
