HOMETOWN: Kansas City, Missouri

BIRTHDAY: September 25

Who was the first person you came out to, and when? I didn't have the chance... Mom and good ol' grandma sat me down at the dining room table when I was 13 to tell me I was gay, and that they were OK with it. I didn't argue, and have considered myself blessed ever since.

I first kissed a boy when… I switched from private Catholic school to public high school at 14 years old.

When I binge, I binge on... Pinkberry, which has replaced my debilitating Starbucks addition.

I make a killer… spinach salad. Hey, salads aren't as simple as one might think!

The movie I'm embarrassed to tell my friends I love is... Hmmm, my friends know my tastes are often questionable. I am embarrassed, however, to tell people that a few of the more recent Harry Potter films scared me to the point that I almost had to leave the theater. Shhh!

The movie I SHOULD BE embarrassed to tell my friends I love, but am not is... The Notebook.

The first concert I went to was... Lollapalooza (either 93 or 94), with Hole and Sonic Youth headlining. Gotta love those 90s alterantive female icons!

One album I never get tired of listening to is...anything by Radiohead.

My favorite TV show of all-time is Sex and the City. My goal is to become Carrie Bradshaw without going to the lengths of a discount surgery in Thailand.

My biggest vice is… caffeine. I may have lied and said my Starbucks addiction has been replaced. It really hasn't.

My favorite day of the week is... Saturday.

Last traffic ticket I got was... most likely for expired registration. Red tape paperwork and the DMV are my biggest nightmares!

My favorite animal is...my dog. Though because of the way I spoil her like my firstborn, using her as the answer to this question feels odd...

If I were any animated Disney character I would be... Daffy Duck. Quacking up yet, hardy-har-har?

I never feel more alive than when I am... traveling. Feeling foreign and exploring new environments is quite possibly my favorite thing to do. (OK -- there might be a few other items that rest above traveling, but I shouldn't mention them here.)

Angelina or Posh? Duh, Madonna is my favorite media-saturated, British-accented celeb!
