It's About Tim
Meet TIM WEAVER, a chef and animal lover who’s equal parts sweet and sexy .
INSTINCT: You come from a religious family, right?
TIM WEAVER: I was raised in a Baptist family and have a couple of ministers in the family. My parents sent me and my siblings to a small private Christian school. When I say small, I mean I graduated from a class of four people. I dated two of the three girls in my class—and, yes, I was the only guy.
You were in the Air Force, too, and now you’re freshly single?
I just got out of a seven-year relationship with someone who I still consider one of my best friends. He was a great inspiration to me in my life, but we realized that we were just at different places. I have never really been in the dating scene, so I am looking forward to getting out there and dating.
How old were you when you came out?

I was 22 when I had my first experience and admitted to myself that I was gay, but I was 26 when I came out to my family back home. I was terrified so I decided to write them a letter. I knew that once I put that letter in the mail, there would be no turning back.
How nerve-wracking!
I remember the day I got their call. I was driving in the car with my partner and I almost didn’t answer because I was scared, but when I did, my mom said, “Hi, so I got your letter today.” I immediately started crying, but my mom reassured me that she loved me and that nothing would change that. I spoke with my dad, who also said that he loved me and actually calmed me down a bit. My family handled it better than I did. I have a very good relationship with my family now—although it could be better because of their religious beliefs—but I know that they love me and that will never change.

He is also an amazing chef....once you have gone Tim you can't go back.
I have eating at incredible restaurants all over the world but...I still consider Tim's food the best.
