Kellan Lutz might officially now hold the crown for gracing the most Primal Instincts, but really, can you blame us? Here are some new shots of Kellan Lutz going barefoot Britney-style in an L.A. parking lot and giving us the goods -- goods he recently said he didn't want to be known for all his career.

"By no means do I want to be a piece of meat for the rest of my career," Kellan told Us Magazine earlier this week. "It's funny when you get asked to do a talk show, and then they follow it up with requesting you take your shirt off."

Miss Universe, Mexico's Jimena Navarette, reminds us that Carrie whatever-her-name-was was a ditzy exception to the universal beauty queen rule of promoting anti-discrimination -- and not pissing off your gays.

Here's what the gorgeous Jimena has to say in an interview regarding GLBT rights:

"Look, I believe that every person in this world has the right to profess the beliefs they have and I am in agreement. We have to respect what each human being decides to do with their lives, no? Clearly, there are limitations, of course, also, as there also are with heterosexual couples, no? Better said, there are limitations for any of the two - if they are heterosexual or homosexual - but I believe we have to learn to be respectful because...

"I would rather have a prostate exam on live television by a guy with very cold hands than have a Facebook page," George Clooney, the epitomy of class who sports a well-known adversion to the social-networking giant, tells the Daily Express.

Elton John, who defied an international artist boycott and played in Israel earlier this year during the post-flotilla fiasco, has once again crossed a political/industry border by playing in Arizona, currently banned by most musicians for what plenty have deemed a racist law. SB 1070, the notorious law heard around the world, goes into effect on Thursday in the state.

"We are all very pleased to be playing in Arizona. I have read that some of the artists won't come here. They are fuck wits! Let's face it: I still play in California, and as a gay man I have no legal rights whatsoever. So what the fuck's up with these people?"

Sir Elton also drew the ire of our community a few months ago when he took a $1m paycheck to perform at one of the...

The drama from last week’s DADT protest in D.C. has yet to dissipate. Lt. Dan Choi – who was sent to jail after marching to the White House and handcuffing himself to the perimeter fence – tells Newsweek that he feels betrayed by the Human Rights Campaign and Kathy Griffin.

"When I heard Kathy Griffin was going to be a spokeswoman for Don't Ask, Don't Tell, I wondered about that. I have great respect for her as an advocate. But if [the Human Rights Campaign] thinks that having a rally at Freedom Plaza with a comedienne is the right approach, I have to wonder. Don't Ask, Don't Tell is not a joking matter to me. To be at Freedom Plaza and not at the White House or Congress? Who are they trying to influence? I felt like they were just...

Jason Mraz certainly knows how to make us swoon. The Grammy winning singer-songwriter of “I’m Yours” dropped by the San Diego Gay & Lesbian Center to speak about equality in Southern California.

"I came down here to learn more about how I can get involved in the fight for equality," Mraz, a resident of nearby Oceanside, said. "Not just marriage equality, but equality for all. And why it's important to me is that it affects my life, many of my friends, management, staff, even one of my close, personal friends, my transgender surfing buddy.”

"I have been so inspired by the life that they live and the committed relationships that they have. Most of them have had longer, more committed relationships than I have had, yet don't get...

It may have been a sour spot for critics of President Obama's appearance at the National Prayer Breakfast, but his speech, along with fellow attendee Secretary Hillary Clinton’s, provided a brief moment of protest against the “kill the gays” bill in Uganda.

Some had pressured the president into finally broaching the deplorable topic after a rumor that Uganda MP (and author of the bill) David Bahati would also be attending this morning’s religious gathering. Regardless of the source of prodding, President Obama stuck a tiny snippet of opposition into the larger theme of health care and equality, saying, “"We can take different approaches to ending inequality, but surely we can agree on the need to lift our children out of ignorance,...

After our editorial on the identity crisis afflicting the two major American political parties, perhaps a bit of redemption for Democrats can be found in Mayor Gavin Newsom, who earlier today publicly criticized President Obama's civil rights inaction.

Speaking with Maureen Dowd for the New York Times, Newsom called the president's glacial pace on GLBT equality “fundamentally inexcusable.”

"Oh, I can't get in trouble here," Newsom laughed with Maureen. “I want him to succeed. But I am very upset by what he's not done in terms of rights of gays and lesbians. I understand it tactically in a campaign, but at this point I don't know. There is some belief that he actually doesn't believe in same-sex marriage. But it's fundamentally...

Our September covergirl and pop icon Kylie Minogue has revealed an attraction to women, according to PinkNew.co.uk.

"I have been attracted to some women. I am a sexual exhibitionist and part of me is a natural flirt,” one of our favorite dance divas recently said.

“But although I am attracted to women, I have never done anything with them.”

The same revelatory article went on to include a quote from our exclusive interview with Kylie, making it quite possibly our favorite delicious news story of the day. Thanks, Pink News!

Pope Benedict XVI has her vestments all in knots again.

During a meeting on the environment, the Catholic leader took an opportunity to lash out against the GLBT community, declaring that creation is “endangered” by equality and civil rights, concepts he goes on to say are determined by “the structure willed by the Creator.”

''Creatures differ from one another and can be protected, or endangered, in different ways, as we know from daily experience. One such attack comes from laws or proposals which, in the name of fighting discrimination, strike at the biological basis of the difference between the sexes.... I am thinking, for example, of certain countries in Europe or North and South America.''
