Tags: sarah palin, willow, trig, bullying, internet, facebook For the first time since the Facebook incident, Sarah Palin discusses her 16-year old daughter Willow's anti-gay rant with Fox News' Sean Hannity (fast forward to the six minute mark for the excerpt). Like Bristol, Sarah glosses over the harmful use of the "bad word," "faggot," and instead calls out the media for putting the spotlight on the teen drama and exploits (erroneously and untruthfully, actually) her handicapable son Trig as the excuse for the homophobic bullying escapade. Pretty sick and twisted, if you ask me... FULL STORY

Then, thanks to you and the other gayborhood theatres packed with queens like us, Cher and Christina Aguilera's ode to the over-the-top (hmmm, who am I kidding?) over-the-bottom movie musical actually didn't fare horribly at the box office this weekend, pulling in $17.2 million to put it in fourth place under Megamind, Tangled and Harry Potter. (Yet guess which of the top four films featured more CGI effects? Cher won't let me tell you... FULL STORY

Alicia Keys has enlisted some pretty big Tweeters (and some of our favorite famous people) to cut the digital cord beginning this Wednesday in recognition of World AIDS Day. Alicia, Gaga, J. Hud, Usher, Ryan Seacrest and other big names will all turn off their Twitter, Facebook and other social media programs until $1 million is raised for the Keep A Child Alive foundation.
Keys came up with the "Digital Life Sacrifice" campaign, which includes "last tweet and testament" videos filmed by various entertainers showing them lying in coffins to represent what the campaign calls their digital deaths.
"It's so important to shock you to the point of waking up," Keys said. "It's not that people don't care or it's not that people don't want... FULL STORY

Seems the straights face discrimination, too. Another heterosexual couple hoping to receive a civil union (currently only available to same-sex couples in the U.K.), became the first in a group of eight protesters to be denied the request. They plan to challenge the decision to highlight the inequity rampant in U.K. marriage laws.
"The registrar did offered us a marriage but that's not what we want," Ian Goggin said. "They formally rejected us and helpfully gave us a letter of rejection which we can take to our legal adviser and mount a campaign against the law."

Tags: snl, humor, sesame street, lady gaga, TV Another thing to be thankful of in America, perhaps, is the well-greased machine that is Sesame Street's marketing team. Their talent for making something go viral is on par with that of the cast of Jersey Shore! Sesame Street's latest masterpiece happens to be Cookie Monster's "audition tape" for Saturday Night Live, featuring lots of drag and a rendition of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face." Ahhh, America.

Sure, Jared Leto's zero-perecent body fat might make us likely to refuse any solid foods and strictly stick to a liquid Thanksgiving dinner (it wouldn't be a first), but we'll never turn down an excuse to enjoy his gratuitous hatred for shirts. Check out this preview for "Hurricane," 30 Seconds To Mars' upcoming 20-minute music video featuring, yup, Jared Leto shirtless.

Despite the fact that the 14th Amendment clearly states its rights apply to ALL people born/naturalized in the United States of America, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia (whose freaking job is based around a keen understanding of the Constitution!), has decided it only applies to heterosexual Americans.
Speaking before the University of Richmand, Scalia said:
“The due process clause has been distorted so it’s no longer a guarantee of process but a guarantee of liberty. But some of the liberties the Supreme Court has found to be protected by that word - liberty - nobody thought constituted a liberty when the 14th Amendment was adopted. Homosexual sodomy? It was criminal in all the states. Abortion? It was criminal in all the... FULL STORY
