Tags: web exclusives, kelly king, gravity She’s gorgeous. She can sing her ass off. And she lives for a good drag show. What’s not to love about Kelly King?
We caught up with the uber-talented singer while she prepped her new single, "Gravity," a new full-length album and her big hair and fake eyelashes to talk about where's she been and, more importantly, where she's headed.
Check out our chat with Kelly over at the Web Exclusives page, or be lazy and click here.

When we imagine the elements we’d like to see included in an Off Broadway stage production, the fantasy usually involves hot jocks in underwear, a deliciously snarky drag queen and well-written musical numbers. When Joey Married Bobby, on stage now in the East Village, boasts two out of three, which was enough to get our taut booties in their seats at Theatre 80 St. Marks. But what kept them there? Besides seeing titular character Joey (played by studalicious Matthew Pender) in his boxers for at least half the production – and yes boys, he’s a pitcher (as in ex-pitcher for the Detroit Tigers!) – the snappy script from playwrights William Wyatt (not a typo, WW is a duo) kept us firmly glued to our seats.
Lady Bunny is a standout and... FULL STORY

Tags: figure skating, op-ed, elvis stojko, masculinity, gender, homophobia, effeminate, skaters, johnny weir Once a Canadian champion on the ice, Elvis Stojko is now taking his figure skating competition into the social arena by trying to lead male skaters away from what he lables "effeminacy."
Stojko, now living in Mexico, is a correspondent reporter on the Vancouver games, but took time out of his schedule to give Salon.com an interview chock-full of gender stereotypes, homophobia, and more insults than we can include in a single blog entry.
Some highlights of the interview:
When Salon asks what he deems “feminine skating,” Stojko responds, “It's the way you carry yourself. There’s a certain strength to it when a masculine skater steps onto the ice and attacks a program. With the feminine skaters, the use of the hands becomes very soft,... FULL STORY

Tags: north charleston, gay pride, parade, grand marshal, mayor keith summey
For North Charleston's inaugural gay Pride, scheduled for May 15, an uncomfortable participant has been crowned the event’s grand marshal: Mayor Keith Summey.
Mayor Summey accepted the honor on account that he represents the entire city, not just the straights (which is admirable), but ruined the sentiment when he expanded on the occasion.
“This is not in any way saying that I am supportive of their lifestyle,” the mayor remarked when further explaining his decision to marshal in the city’s gays.
How on earth can anyone who A.) claims that being gay is a “lifestyle” and B.) will readily vocalize that they do not support said “lifestyle” maintain the respected honor of grand marshalling a Pride parade, let alone a city's... FULL STORY

Tags: primal instinct, olympics, vancouver, winter games, austrian, hotties, dominik landertiger It's not just the term biathelete that turns us on, it's Austrian military servicemember Dominick Landertinger's inclusion in the sport that kicks it up a notch, too.
The 6'2", blue-eyed 22-year-old is a shining (as in smile, look at that thing!) example why the Winter Olympics shouldn't be overlooked when on the hunt for hot jocks.

Our friends at Gawker point us toward a casting call for a reality show on the hunt for stereotypical gay guy/straight girl BFF's in New York City, a la Will & Grace or Carrie & Stan.*Warning: We are legally required to inform you that reading the below casting carries the risk of lowering your I.Q.
ARE YOU AND YOUR BFF THE REAL LIFE WILL & GRACE?
A high profile cable network, in association with Doron Ofir Casting, would like to explore the fabulously iconic relationships that only a gay man and his best female friend share. In the greatest city in the world, amidst the hustle and bustle, love, relationships and professional ambition combine with the frenzied and ultimately wonderful dysfunction that two like minds can share... Tags: european union, gay rights, minorities, turkey, macedonia, croatia, reports, requirements Turkey, Croatia and Macedonia are hoping to join the European Union, but the EU commission has reminded the trio of countries that each applicant must support rights for all minorities before inclusion can be considered. Turkey, Croatia and Macedonia aren't quite there yet.
The UKGayNews reports:
The three candidate countries were reminded that the protection of all minorities is a non-negotiable condition to access the European Union.
“I am happy that our amendments in favour of LGBT rights in the progress reports for Macedonia and Croatia were adopted by the European Parliament,” Ulrike Lunacek MEP, co-president of the European Parliament’s Intergroup on LGBT Rights, said this evening.
The report on Croatia conveys the... FULL STORY
