An Armani Exchange Valentine's Day campaign is being protested by a wingnut organization referred to as One Million Moms. The racy ads depict three couples – straight, gay, lesbian – embracing atop a caption that reads, “Share the love.”

One Million Moms is instituting a letter and phone campaign, and have sent out a rage-filled press release.

"Malls, where teens hang out, have retailers whose window displays poison our children with 10-foot posters that are nothing but soft p*rn. In particular, Armani Exchange has recently displayed Valentine's posters with partially dressed 'couples' holding one another. These couples consist of two men, a man and woman, and two women. The women are scantily dressed while it is questionable if...

The South Florida Raging Grannies (perhaps one of my favorite phrases I've ever had to write) won't take no crap from CBS anymore, and has decided to put down the Activia and pick up a song book, all in the name of pro-choice. The catalyst to get these gorgeous grannies off their plastic-covered sofas? CBS's close work with Focus on the Family to run a pro-life, anti-choice spot during the Superbowl.

Not quite sure why this study was needed, but Men’s Health Magazine has come out with the ranking of the 100 drunkest cities in the U.S. And some-what surprisingly, Fresno, California took the top spot. Out of every city in the country. Period.

But she wasn’t the only not-quite-a-big-city to crack the top 10. Following Fresno is Reno; Billings, Montana (??); Riverside, California;  Austin; St. Louis; San Antonio; Lubbock, Texas; Tucson; and Bakersfield, California.

Well if you’ve ever been to super-cool Austin then you know there’s a bar every five feet, so that makes sense. The others, I don’t know. The results were formed by examining death rates from alcoholic liver disease, alcohol-induced car crashes, frequency of...

Update:

While he's still a hot daddy, Anderson debunked the adoption rumor via his Twitter:

"From ac: while the plight of children in Haiti has touched us all, stories about me adopting a baby are completely false."

Take this with a big rimmed glass of Margarita salt, folks, but the National Enquirer is "reporting" that Anderson Cooper and Benjamin Maisani (a personal fave of ours here at Instinct) are adopting a Haitian baby.

According to the Enquirer:

The silver-haired journalist and his hunky boyfriend, Ben Maisani, plan to raise the child together in their recently purchased home, a former firehouse they're renovating in New York's West Village, pals say.

"The death and destruction in Haiti made Anderson realize what's really...

On the red carpet for the Grammy Awards, cutie-patootie Jason Mraz name dropped hopefuls for another arena -- the debate over marriage equality.

Speaking to Popeater, Mraz said, The more straight people, the better, so big names that cause a stir in the media, like Kanye West and John Mayer. [Mayer's] recently been very transparent in what he's been saying or tweeting and I would love to see some more empowering transparency rather than material or self-loathing. Same as with Kanye -- I feel like he's such a huge presence that if he really promotes it and says, 'Listen, you need to do this,' more people would rally for the cause. The more straight heavy-hitters [that] speak up could really benefit the cause."

In the wake of Prop 8, voter protests of the LDS Church in Utah have grown, including a call for excommunication of high-ranking Mormons.

ExcommunicateTheChurch.com launched on Monday, February 1, including a form letter available to be filled out by angered protestors, and the site's creators already boast that 200 citizens have taken action.

“The response for the protest was surprising,” says creator Jason Beckett. “I launched the site on Monday evening and by Wednesday more than 200 people had downloaded the letter, and more than 100 people had joined our group; all I did was tell a few friends on my Facebook page, it just rolled out from there.”

“I’m not here to destroy the Mormon Church. My purpose in creating this protest...

She may have won more Grammys than she could carry, but it was Taylor Swift's out-of-tune Grammy duet with Stevie Nicks that most remember. To quell the water-cooler and blogosphere discourse, Swifts record label came out today in defense of her pitchy notes.

"This is not American Idol. This is not a competition of getting up and seeing who can sing the highest note," Big Machine Records CEO Scott Borchetta informed The Associated Press. "This is about a true artist and writer and communicator. It's not about that technically perfect performance."

"We had a volume problem in the ear. So, she was concerned that she wasn't able to hear everything in the mix...
