Odd pairing, I know. But Forbes Magazine announced their list of the wealthiest dead celebrities today (who thinks up these things?) and the loser winner was a bit surprising to me. Congratulations Yves Saint Laurent, you made $350 million in the past year! But you weren’t around to spend a penny of it (the famed designer died in 2008).

Most probably expected Michael Jackson to top the list, and while he does come in at third wealthiest with $90—pretty impressive seeing as how he’s only been half of the year—it’s Rogers and Hammerstein that come in second place with $235 million in earnings.

While Forbes looked at the wealthy, an AOL poll looked at the worst influences (as chosen by teens) for 2009 and step aside Britney,...

L.A. had some crazy-ass wind yesterday, so much so that not only did our marketing director lose his weave, but The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson lost power in the middle of filming. After throwing to commercial, the show eventually had to go on, and here was the result:

Not the funniest material to show up on Funny or Die, but c'mon, it's gay-ally and all around hottie James Franco.

Though I'm sure Miss Franco has never mispronounced a high-end fashion house in her life, it certainly makes for funny fodder (especially if you're stoned, like Franco's cute mug seems to indicate he might perpetually be).

If Rosie O'Donnell goes missing in the next few weeks, we'll know the first place to look. As the on-again-off-again TV host does the promotion circuit for her upcoming Sirius XM show, Rosie tackled a regular punch line in her routine -- Oprah's pesky gay rumors -- live on air with Howard Stern.

From BET's blog:

“I don’t know. I think she’s never been married and she’s exceptionally close to Gayle [King],” Rosie, who was promoting her own Sirius XM show, “Rosie Radio,” which stars next Monday, said. “I don’t know that she and Gayle are necessarily doing each other but I think they are the emotional equivalent of…”

“A gay couple,” Howard chimed in.

“When they did that road trip, that’s as gay as it gets,” ...

Move over UFC, the best fighting can be found on cable news shows (or The Insider--remember NeNe's appearance?). This week the medium played host to two nail-biting and gay-related TV arguments, manned by Joy Behar (pun intended) and Steven Colbert.

First, Joy traded blows with Joe the wingnut puppet "Plumber." OK, it was more one-sided with Joy providing the blows and the hirsute, burly Joe looking like a bear caught in headlights after some wild PnP.

Then there's Mr. Colbert's sassy dissection of Washington's Referendum 71:

Adam Lambert's debut album cover.

Hmm, it may be called For Your Entertainment, but maybe For Your Mockery would be a better fit. That image is liken to one you would find on a T-shirt with unicorns printed on the back. Fail.

What do you think of Adam's choice of art?

Few TV series have been as critically acclaimed as Battlestar Galactica. Yes, it was written superbly. Yes, it was driven by its character-centric structure. Yes, it was host to one of the strongest ensemble casts in TV, led by Mary McDonnell and Edward James Olmos. But really, if you talk to a fan, he or she will likely tell you that what was greatest about the show was that the beginning and the ending were equally gripping, equally emotional, equally…satisfying. [For non BSGers among our readers, we apologize (only lightly) for our writer Richard's canonization of the series. We hear it's amazing from many…not just excitable Richard]

Now a new movie, The Plan, is out on DVD and Blu-Ray today (Oct. 27) to tell the story from the perspective...

It was a delicious diva trifecta over the weekend at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center's 38th Annual Gala. The big Pikachu herself Chelsea Handler handed out awards to no less than two hysterical women: Wanda Sykes and Miss Coco Peru. Luckily, we have video evidence from Wanda's acceptance speech to carry us through Humpday.

Dropping the F-bomb on Twitter and in the locker-room on Monday has exploded in Kansas City Chief Larry Johnson’s face – it has been announced that the bitter running back will be suspended while team officials review the case.

Johnson issued what should now be a form letter for professional athletes embattled in similar situations. Read what seems to be a half-assed apology here.

We don't care if every hipster in town dresses like they (or really does) work at American Apparel, it's to uncover any criticism of the LA-based apparel company, especially because it continues to pump out Prideful t-shirts (tasteful ones we can actually wear in front of mom).

First, it was the "Legalize Gay" shirt spreading our plea for equality across the chests of America; now it's vintage photographs redesigned as artistic t-shirts that are knockin' our neon yellow tube socks off...
