Alleged Rapist Topher DiMaggio Gets Booked for Major Gig

It looks as if certain places and companies are overlooking the several different sexual assault allegations against Topher DiMaggio, as Str8UpGayPorn has just revealed that he booked a major gig for gay pride.

For those who are unaware, five separate men have accused him of sexual assault, with each coming forward to a variety of publications with their own claims on what Topher allegedly did to them.  Three have remained unidentified, whereas two, fellow porn star Tegan Zayne and YouTube personality Bryan Hawn, revealed their identity when it came to telling their alleged side of things.

Now, Topher has been booked to headline pride at gay nightclub Paris in Scottsdale, Arizona tonight.  Arizona celebrates their gay pride a bit earlier than several other states who tend to have theirs in the months of June and July.

It's the second time recently where Topher has reemerged after the several allegations against him. Underwear company Andrew Christian, who made the decision to suspend their former "trophy boy" indefinitely when the allegations were mounding against him, posted a video in March that prominently featured him throughout. The video remains active on their YouTube page.

Is it wise for these companies to use someone who is under this much scrutiny?

He’s booking gigs because no one’s gone to the cops, opened a case or laid charges. Is he supposed to curl up in a ball and die just on someone’s say so? Sorry that everyone isn’t willing to jump to conclusions and judge and execute him based on untested allegations. You know, the Lgbt community can’t just be fair and equitable when it suits certain people. Go forth and conquer Topher

Is it me or does this sound like a veiled threat ‘Is it wise for these companies to use someone who is under this much scrutiny?’

Just an FYI... there is no such word as "payed"... it's paid. And not sure what you meant with "tru"... did you mean thru or through? Also, is it "threatening to pull out of THE Andrew Christian company"? Sorry - I'm being a smart ass and an English major.

You forgot "mounding" instead of the correct "mounting". Doesn't anybody ever peruse and edit their writing anymore, especially those who's writing is their job? <rolls eyes>

Is the writer of we're at all the gigs like this may be signed for six months or more in advance before all the controversy came up?

I'm not defending the guy but you want the organization to ditch him or you want to shame them enough to hurt their celebration when they may not be able to get a well-known replacement anymore. Maybe  they should but don't be so flip about it

What did they do to Kevin Spacey after he was accused? The reshot all of his scenes in a Hollywood blockbuster movie.  He wasn't convicted, but he was shunned by all. I think saying sorry, we don't want to see you in your underwear today is a lot less of spending millions of dollars to reshoot a movie.

Exectly! It's all Slander at this time! Until he is found guilty in a law of court; stop slandering his name!

Oh honey, you're so wrong.  It is NOT slander if it is true, that is an absolute defense to a claim of libel or slander.  He doesn't need to be found guilty in a court of law (not "law of court") for those who are alleging that he sexually assaulted them to speak out.

Also, it's libel when it is in written form, not slander. Slander is verbal defamation.

Come on... no charges, no law suit, no legal paper work.  That doesn’t make in innocent, but there No probes that he is guilty either.

Our law states innocent until proven guilty. It’s slanderous to continue to post accusations against him since he hasn’t been changed, let alone convicted, of any crime. I can go around saying the author of this article raped me. Doesn’t mean it actually happened.

You don't understand how defamation laws work.  Someone can be a rapist without being convicted of rape.  TRUTH is a defense to claims of slander and libel.  If Topher wants to sue and claim that those who have come forward are slandering him (it's actually libel, by the way, when it is in written form), if they can prove their claims then it is not libel. And Instinct has said "alleged" which is accurate.

I agree that we are innocent until proven guilty. Kevin Spacey would, too. Wait, where is he now?
