Anti-Gay Preacher Gives Advice On Avoiding 'Flaming Foo-Foo Fruit Loop' Waiters

Adam Fannin, a pastor at Stedfast Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, offered some "advice" to members of his congregation, should they want to avoid a “flaming foo-foo fruit loop” waiter.

In a video recently shared to YouTube, he can be heard saying:

“If I ever go to a restaurant, you sit down, and here comes this flaming foo-foo fruit loop, I’m just like, 'Oh great.' I’m here to have a date night, enjoy some time with my wife and because of the lisps, I can’t even, you know.

"My recommendation, if you don’t just get up and leave, my recommendation is just don’t order anything.

And if one is hungry and should want to stay?

Fannin said the solution is to, "find a lady that looks like a mom, that looks like a very diligent worker." Ask her to come over your section, and be sure to tip her well.

In response to the video, one person commented:

"How to avoid a "christian" bigot is a much more pressing issue in the US. They are EVERYWHERE."

Remarked another:

"Bigotry in the name of jesus is still bigotry."

If he is so obsessed with homosexuality to the point he has to imagine scenarios where a gay waiter comes up to serve him and he expresses the idea of rejection then he must have serious issues with his own sexuality.

And just another great piece of religious hatred that fortunately will drive more and more people away from religion in favour of critical thinking and secular values. They do a great job at diminishing the power of religion in societies and I'm thankful for that^^

I mean...besides the totality of it all, it just doesn't make any sense.

“Sometimes the Bible in the hand of one man is worse than a whisky bottle in the hand of (another)... There are just some kind of men who - who're so busy worrying about the next world they've never learned to live in this one, and you can look down the street and see the results.” Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird

WOW. Bigotry, prejudice, hatred, and basic uneducated ignorance coming from the pulpit to the congregation. Your Bible appears to be radically different from mine.
