Apple's New Red iPhone Raises Money To Fight HIV/AIDS
Apple announced two new red colored iPhones, today. And even better, a portion of the sale of the new special edition smartphones will go to fund the fight against HIV/AIDS.
A vibrant red colored iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have launched as a part of the (PRODUCT)RED campaign.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said:
“Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products.
“The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”
(RED) CEO Deborah Dugan said:
