Betty Crocker Comes Out For LGBT Families On National Coming Out Day

Betty Crocker, which has a rich history of supporting the LGBT community, has released a video tribute to the diversity of American families just in time for National Coming Out Day. Filmed at Pride events earlier this year, "Betty Celebrates All Families 2013" was released to showcase the power of entire families coming out for equality.

"By showcasing diverse families and continuing their strong support of LGBT families, Betty Crocker is helping to show Americans that the key ingredient to a family is simply love," said GLAAD spokesperson Wilson Cruz. "On National Coming Out Day GLAAD joins Betty Crocker in celebrating out and proud LGBT people and their families around the country."

Hate group leader Tony Perkins has already called for a boycott of Betty Crocker, but we're sure anti-gay extremists can hardly resist having any of the brand's items stocking their shelves.
