'Black Panther' Rotten Tomatoes Score Has Been Revealed = Buy Your Tickets NOW!
Director Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther is officially at a rating of 100%c fresh on Rotten Tomatoes as of it's first reviews.
Glowing reviews from writers like Conner Schwerdtfeger calling it “one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most powerful, moving, and thematically resonant films to date.”
Most reviews call Black Panther something utterly unique, not only within the overarching superhero landscape, but even within the MCU. Reviews include praise like “vibrant,” “inspiring,” and “visual joy to behold.”
There are some complaints about the film. Not really a spoiler, but at the beginning of the film, there needed to be an explanation of the history of Wakanda.
In his review on Uproxx, Mike Ryan, who praises the film as feeling “like the beginning of something new” for Marvel, called out the animated opening. “Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther starts disappointingly, with animation accompanied by narrated exposition to explain the history of Wakanda – and frankly it’s the only part of the movie that doesn’t really work, because this kind of introduction just never works,” Ryan writes. - inverse.com
But a 100% is still amazing. Some did promise to threaten the rating. Last week, an alt-right hate group on Facebook stated they would artificially deflate the Black Panther Rotten Tomatoes score.
Why would they want to do that? To diverse of a movie? Let's watch the trailer again and see what we think.
Should we buy tickets now? Everyone else is! Last week Wednesday, Fandango reported that Black Panther has surpassed all superhero movies in pre-sale tickets through its online service.
Black Panther is slated to be one of the most impactful Marvel outings in years, maybe even ever.
Avengers: Infinity War will definitely have to step it up to compete. But with so many characters and spreading across so many story lines, we are sure Infinity War will do well.
Black Panther will be released in theaters February 16, 2018.
