Caitlyn Jenner Defends Her Republican Support

Caitlyn Jenner wants a Republican leader "to bring this country back ... to what it was." Despite the media's best effort of fooling the American public into believing it's Armageddon, every metric possible shows that America is better than it ever has been. So we all know what Caitlyn is referring to in code in her new interview on HBO's Any Given Wednesday. What else does Caitlyn have to say to ruin what's left of her reputation?

“I am here to help the entire Republican Party do a better job when it comes to LBGT issues. For that reason I stay on the conservative side. Now, the Republican Party obviously is – they are not, have not, been as good as it comes to LBGT issues and social issues. And so I have kind of positioned myself with the Republican Party, of trying to help these people kind of understand what the issues are for the LBGT community. And obviously, in my case, the ‘T’ portion.”

Stupid bitch should just crawl back under her rock, and take her freak family with her. I can't get over that fog horn voice, it would scare the dead. Poor role model for T people.

The most important thing to Caitlyn Jenner is not having to pay taxes. She just wishes they'd be nicer to lgbt's. Didn't the t party republicans try that and they were laughed out of existence? Not gonna' happen. If you think you're gonna' change the Republicans from the "we hate everybody" to "we hate everybody but lgbt's are ok now", you're dreaming. Not gonna' happen.

You're right in that there are obviously other issues that affect people. But since you pay more attention to the "other issues" which you align republican, there are others that find lgbt rights most important to them which is why they fall on the liberal end of the spectrum. You can either stand on a conservative platform or push for LGBT rights. You can't do both. History shows everyone that.

You can do both. That's foolish to think you can't. History is history. Why don't we try and focus on the future instead of living in the past.

You know what Instinct? It's bullsh*t that you say she's ruining her reputation because she's a republican. I'm gay and a republican and there are so many others out there that believe the same. That's the problem with society, and with the LGBT community. They think everyone should be liberal democrats like them. However, there are more things to life than just our rights and our issues. There are regular societal issues that impact us also and many of those issues we republicans are conservative with and align with that party. It's crap that you call out someone who is actually a leader in the conservative movement who is part of the LGBT community just because it doesn't fit with your agenda. You as media are part of the problem. Again, it's bullsh*t.

So then, as long as the republicans stop brown people from coming into the country, take food away from the poor, try again and again to destroy health care for 15 million Americans you are good with them trying to force the LGBT community so far back into the closet that we can never find our way out again?  You are all for the infinite war in the Middle East?  You are fine with American corps hiding billions and billions of dollars overseas. You are good with them cutting the clean air and water standards.  Good with them putting women in prison for deciding what they want to do with their own bodies.

This year at the GOP convention, they released the most REGRESSIVE platform over the last 50 years.

And I could make statements that are negative about what democrats want to do. Like let immigrants into this country without clearing them properly, resulting in ISIS terror attacks and taking guns rights away from us so we can't defend ourselves or protect ourselves, and giving money to the Iranian government which they use to build nuclear weapons and then threaten us with them. It goes both ways my friend. Neither side is good. I align better with one than the other, and you apparently are on the opposite side. Good for you. End of discussion.

Gay Republicans are like Jews for Hitler. You people are such an oxymoron. How can you live with yourselves being Republican? *scratches head*

Because being gay does not define my views on this country or this world. I am a gun advocate and I am against illegal immigration, among other conservative viewpoints. Why would I vote against the GOP just because I'm gay? That's ignorant to base your vote on one piece of your life that doesn't even come close to defining 100% of who a person is. If you have liberal views, go support democrats. However I believe my views are conservative and I support the GOP in most all aspects because we align in more ways than I do with any other party. Comparing it to Hitler is ignorant as well.

Have you read the Republican party platform?   You're okay with a US political parties agenda of conversion therapy and defining marriage as between a man and a women?  Neither party has been fiscally responsible, Republicans just do a better job at claiming they are.  Being gay isn't all I am either, but I cannot in good faith, vote or support any party or person who would negate my marriage to the man I love.  You can be free to NOT marry, but you do not have the right to impose that upon us.  Supporting Republicans supports their platform and places your way of life back 50+ years.  I for one won't stay here if my marriage is nullified.

I'm concerned with more issues than just marriage and marriage was granted by the Supreme Court. Republicans can't take it away regardless of their stance. I don't let one issue define the party I vote for. There are wayyyy more important issues in this world and country right now which drive the party I vote for. If you want to vote based on one issue, go for it. In my opinion, your priorities are screwed if you only care about equal rights of marriage. But that's just my opinion.
