Facebook Removes Game That Tasks Players With Killing LGBT
Facebook has disabled the "Call of the Stool" game/app that allows users to play as a Georgian Christian Orthodox priest and kill members of the LGBT community, Instinct has learned.
"We take action against apps that violate our platform policies as laid out here: https://developers.facebook.com/policy/, in order to maintain a trustworthy experience for users," a spokesperson for the company tells Instinct.
"Call of the Stool," or "Call of Taburetka," sparked outrage earlier this week when a demo video of the new app showcased a chaotic anti-gay assault scene based on the attack of Pride marchers in Tblisi, Georgia last month.
