'Fox & Friends' Outraged Over CA Transgender Students Bill
Break out the violins, the Fox & Friends hosts (along with guest Fox News contributor Michelle Malkin) are totally bummed about California's incredible new transgender bill for students.
"There is such an impetus to pander to political correctness," said Michelle Malkin, looking completely baffled and appalled at the prospect of such legislation. "I think this is social engineering run amuck. Apparently, according to the bill that was signed, transgender is defined any way that they want to! As long as a child has the self-perception that they are transgender they will be able to go into any bathroom that they want!"
It's the same ignorant and absolutely shortsighted claim made by transphobics over the years: "Won't somebody please think about the bathrooms!!"
Others on the panel worried that California children will now learn that the "T" in LGBT exist before the conversation once again circled to bathrooms.
"We know that kids like to pull pranks," Carlson said. "Can you imagine now the boys wanna go into the girls bathroom and the girls wanna go into the boys bathroom and they can just say, 'Oh I was transgender for the moment.'"
No mention of the kids who will actually be helped by this legislation (or even the lives it might save), but did we ever expect that kind of insight from Fox News?
