Gay Conservative Implies Gay Men Care About 'Dick and Meth,' Not Politics

Gay conservative journalist Chadwick Moore has a reputation for making inflammatory statements like, 'Gay men shouldn't hold hands in public,' and 'Matthew Shepard’s Death Wasn’t A Hate Crime'.

And earlier this week, Moore, who previously contributed to LGBT publications like OUT and The Advocate, resurfaced to appear on Fox News, to speak on the anniversary of the Pulse nightclub massacre that took place in Orlando, last year.

Appearing on Tucker Carlson Tonight, Moore spoke about the New York City vigil for Pulse victims, held at the historic Stonewall inn.

Moore claimed the event was hijacked by the "radical ideology" of a "far-left anti-gun group," and called the Stonewall Inn "the equivalent of Mecca for Muslims."

Charming, right?

Moore then went on to say:

“Most gay people aren’t political.

“Most gay people, you know, they care about pop music and going to the beach. They probably don’t even know what the Second Amendment is."

Then, after lashing out at the UK's Gay Times for criticizing his statement, Moore clarified:

This commentator is wrong. I for one am an opera buff and do not care about pop music and I prefer to natural beauty of the rocky coast to the beach. I also prefer news commentators to have a brain.

Poor Chadwick. When he reaches middle-age and he's sitting in a bar knocking back cocktails because no one will talk to him, it's going to be sad to see him in that state. Such is the price of short-lived celebrity.
