Gay Couple's Marriage Proposal Included In Google's New Ad

Google announced its newest version of Android, titled Lollipop, on Wednesday. Less than 24 hours later, a commercial spot that plays on the oft-lobbed criticism of Android fragmentation hits the Internet.

Like many of Google's advertisements, this one also includes a bit of LGBT visibility. Having sourced the ad from YouTube, Google ultimately decided to include adorable footage of Alex Unick proposing to his partner Zach Udko (which airs for a split second).

Check out the latest from Google below:

Just remember. If you say that you don't want to buy an android because of this ad, the Apple CEO is gay.

Kudos to Google and their ad firm. Every now and then you see two men together in car ads...eventually we'll see more shots like this too. Progress is slow but like lava it eventually absorbs the old terrain with a new covering.
