"Glee" Will Go On Hiatus Due To Cory Monteith's Death

The untimely death of Glee star Cory Monteith will, it turns out, affect the shooting and premiere schedule of the next season of Fox's popular show.

InTouch Weekly got the scoop:

“Everyone on the show was told they were taking a two-week hiatus until [the producers] figure out what they want to do,” a source revealed to the magazine. “The writers and producers are trying to figure out what to do with Cory’s character because they need to rewrite everything now.”

The show was scheduled to start shooting at the end of July and return to television on September 19. No word yet on an offical rescheduling of the new season's debut.
