'Glee's' Max Adler Returns...As Blaine's Boyfriend??

There may be trouble in paradise for Kurt and Blaine as Glee heads into its final season!

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Max Adler, who played Dave Karofsky on the series, is set to return and he may be the spoiler for Klaine!

Max Adler has booked a return visit to the Fox musical and will reprise his role as former bully turned openly gay good guy Dave KarofskyThe Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Adler's arc is said to be major, and he'll appear in at least four of the final 13 episodes of the series. Sources tell THR that Dave may now be romantically entangled with Blaine (Darren Criss), which is surprising news since season five ended with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine seemingly better than ever as a couple after performing at a glitzy showcase for the all-powerful social mover June (Shirley MacLaine).

Adler was last seen in the 17th episode of Glee's fifth season when Karofsky appeared in Rachel's pre-Opening Night dream sequence. The plot twist would come after Blaine helped Kurt get through Karofsky's bullying. The closeted jock routinely tormented the openly gay Kurt and, after Dave forced a kiss on him in season two, was outed in a landmark season-three episode in which he attempted suicide.

What do you think of Karofsky potentially becoming between Glee's supercouple?

WOAH!!!! i thought blaine and kurt were getting married????

I wish I could be excited here, but I gave up on "Glee" after Season Three.

They just don't look like they "match" looks wise.....but maybe on a soul level........?

Im not worried. I think he will endup being the guy Blaine originalluy cheated on kurt with. They never said who it was. it will create tention but they will be ok...or all hell will break loose!

This is a total bomb!!!!

I was hoping for him to come back but not like this ... Is it possible that the gay wedding that we're expecting would be theirs and not Kurt and Blaine?

I'm in shock with the news.

It seems very true to life. Reminds us that these characters are young, though such things happen not only to the young. Makes me want to tune in.
