Has Beyonce Changed The Game?
And drop them on ITunes on a Thursday night with nary a leak, a peep, or promo destroying the Internet and our damn lives in the process.
Consider our wigs--and those of seemingly every pop star—snatched.
So has she changed the game?? Has Beyonce single-handedly changed how we're going to be getting our music?
You can check out previews of all of Bey's new videos here.
"I didn't want to release my music the way I've done it. I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There's so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn't want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it's ready and from me to my fans.
"I just want to give my album to the people I love and respect and hope that they feel the same thing I felt when I made the music."
It's an exciting, bold choice and we hope it pays off!
For those traditionalists, look for the double disc CD/DVD at retail in time for the holidays.
What do you think of this move by, Bey, Instincters? (And since this is also about the actual music--favorite tracks? Videos??)
