Jenny McCarthy & Sherri Shepherd Say Final Goodbyes On 'The View'

The View co-hosts Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd taped their last live episode of The View on Thursday and had warm goodbyes for all involved.

Co-host and moderator Whoopi Goldberg was notably--and sadly--absent.

Check out Jenny and Sherri's final goodbye!

TheWrap writes:

Fellow departing co-host Shepherd and McCarthy will be featured in Friday and Monday's episodes of ABC's long-running daytime talk show, but both of those episodes were pre-taped. Thursday's episode marked their final live moments on the show.

“All I can say is wow, I am so grateful,” said McCarthy while fighting back tears. “I am grateful.”

“This is a job where you've got a lot of craziness going on,” said Shepherd, “but Jenny McCarthy always comes in with a smile and is one of the nicest people to work with in this business so its been so wonderful having you here for the first year.”

Will you miss Jenny and Sherri, Instincters?

FYI, Perez Hilton is exclusively reporting that Whoopi and returning co-host Rosie O'Donnell secretly tested with potential new co-hosts Nicolle Wallace and October Gonzalez today.

Perez writes:

For those of you who don't know, Nicolle is a political commentator and best-selling author. She's also known for working as communications chief during the presidency of George W. Bush.

October is the wife of football star Tony Gonzalez. On her Twitter, she describes herself as a "Mommy, Wife, Sister, blogger, and lover of life."

Thoughts on those potential choices??

Gonna miss Sheri. She constantly cracked me up

Nicole Wallace is the devil. Just sayin'. She appears on Morning Joe as a panelist and spews all kinds of Republican garbage. Just another reason for me to skip The View.

No, I won't miss them! The View sucks, with porn stars, fa@ hags, slobs, sluts, old bitches, etc.

i agree with Doug - not to have Whoppi or even Barbara acknowledge the two women is very disrespectful.

Sunny Houstin!!  The final show was just weird. The fact that Whoppi wasn't even mentioned and Barbara didn't even tape an acknowledgement was odd and rude.

Seem like good choices
