Fresh off of his confirmation as the new U.S. Ambassador to Australia, John Berry has married his partner of 17 years, Curtis Yee, in Washington D.C.!

Berry was one of four gay ambassadors that were confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

The wedding took place at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.
