Maryland Senate Approves Transgender Rights Bill
Good news out of Maryland!
Maryland's Senate voted 32-15 to approve an anti-discrimination bill providing protections for transgender individuals. The bill will protect transgender people from discrimination in housing, employment, and other areas.
The bill, the Fairness for All Marylanders Act, now heads to the Maryland House.
SB 212 was introduced by State Sen. Rich Madaleno (D-Montgomery County).
