Who cares.

One of the commendable things to note about Mandela for a publication like Instinct: Nelson Mandela served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999 and led the fight for freedom, justice and equality. With the 1996 constitution, South Africa was the first in the world to outlaw discrimination based on sexual orientation, and in 2010 South Africa was the fifth country in the world, and the first in Africa, to legalize same-sex marriage.

"A man who takes away another man’s freedom is a prisoner of hatred, he is locked behind the bars of prejudice and narrow-mindedness. I am not truly free if I am taking away someone else’s freedom, just as surely as I am not free when my freedom is taken from me. The oppressed and the oppressor alike are robbed of their humanity” - Nelson Mandela
