Updated Monday 5:30 p.m. PST:
Just in case you can't catch it on OWN, Bridegroom will also begin streaming on Netflix on Oct. 27!! This is essential viewing, Instincters!!
If you haven't already gotten to see the devastatingly powerful documentary Bridegroom, here's your chance!
OWN will be airing the award winning documentary which tells the emotional journey of Shane Bitney Crone and Tom Bridegroom, two young men in a loving and committed relationship that was cut tragically short. The story of what happened after Tom's accidental death– of how people in relationships without the legal protections of marriage can find themselves completely shut out and ostracized by family members – is poignant, thought provoking and sheds more light on the issue of marriage equality and human rights.
Check out the trailer.
Bridegroom, directed by Linda Bloodworth Thomason, will air at 10 p.m. as part of OWN's special night of programming which centers around "Being Gay In America" on Oct. 27.
