Rapper 2 Chainz Turned His Pink Trap House Into An HIV Testing Center

Rapper 2 Chainz has an album, titled Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, that’s about to release.

To prepare for its release, 2 Chainz is doing a lot of marketing and PR work. One creative way he’s been doing it is by setting up the Pink Trap House in Atlanta as a tourist stop and a center for several programs and charities.

Some examples of what the house has or will be used for is that it is going to become a house of worship, otherwise known as the Trap Church, this weekend and led by Pastor Michael Wortham.

Plus, during this Fourth of July, the house was used as an HIV testing clinic.

2 Chainz worked with the Fulton County Board of Health, Test Atlanta and Atlanta AIDS to make the clinic a success.

Then on the day, doors were open from 11 a.m. to 3:30pm with not only testing services offered but also games, informational pamphlets, and free giveaways.

But as good as this house has been for these several charities and programs, it hasn’t been good for the locals.

Specifically, local businesses are very unhappy with the Pink Trap House because of the constant traffic going to and from the house. Plus, there is no parking at the house, so visitors parked in other spots like parking lots for the neighboring businesses.

These circumstances have made business hard for the neighboring stores, but it seems that their complaints are nearly over.

2 Chainz’s lease on the Pink Trap House ends tomorrow on July 7. That said, he and his management are considering renewing the lease. Especially for future projects such as their Back-to-School party which will be a blockparty that will also supply back to school items for students.

If you want to check out the The Pink Trap House before it potentially changes hands and gets repainted, you can find it at 1530 Howell Mill in Atlanta, Georgia.
