Rick Santorum: Marriage Equality Is Bad For The Economy

Rick "Santorum" Santorum was the star guest of the National Organization for Marriage's "March For Against Marriage" hate rally in D.C. yesterday. After speaking to a crowd featuring tens of people, the failed presidential candidate told a reporter that allowing LGBT Americans to marry would be "bad for the economy." Let the frothy mix explain his logic:

i am hear to give testimony of how i got back my husband, we got married for more than 9 years and have gotten two kids. thing were going well with us and we are always happy. until one day my husband started to behave in a way i could not understand, i was very confused by the way he treat me and the kids. later that month he did not come home again and he called me that he want a divorce, i asked him what have i done wrong to deserve this from him, all he was saying is that he want a divorce that he hate me and do not want to see me again in his life, i was mad and also frustrated do not know what to do,i was sick for more than 2 weeks because of the divorce. i love him so much he was everything to me without him my life is incomplete. i told my sister and she told me to contact a spell caster, i never believe in all this spell casting of a thing. i just want to try if something will come out of it. i contacted Dr Zuma zuk for the return of my husband to me, they told me that my husband have been taken by another woman, that she cast a spell on him that is why he hate me and also want us to divorce. then they told me that they have to cast a spell on him that will make him return to me and the kids, they casted the spell and after 1 week my husband called me and he told me that i should forgive him, he started to apologize on phone and said that he still live me that he did not know what happen to him that he left me. it was the spell that he Dr Zuma zuk casted on him that make him comeback to me today,me and my family are now happy again today. thank you Dr Zuma zuk for what you have done for me i would have been nothing today if not for your great spell. i want you my friends who are passing through all this kind of love problem of getting back their husband, wife , or ex boyfriend and girlfriend to contact spiritualherbalisthealers@gmail.com. and you will see that your problem will be solved without any delay.

Santorium is such a low life and those that support him have to be just as bad. He is so full of hate it shows in every disgusting picture.

Burntbulb: your comments have me wondering what the news coverage/response would be if a group was formed that staged protests against exactly the things you mention? The group would need a new name conveying its intent to save the traditional family by prohibiting divorce, separation, single parenting, etc, and would also require all couples pulling a marraige license to pledge to have a child within three years or have their marriage dissolved by the government. Perhaps through satire and humor those (gay & straight) who support marriage equality could show just how stupid Santorum and others like him sound when they spew this garbage. There's certainly enough talent in the gay community alone to take this idea and run with it.

If he is saying that gay marriage is bad then he is also saying that being gay is bad for the economy and society. Wasn't there another politician in Germany saying the exact same thing during the 1940's about jews?

He's such a tool, all talk with nothing to back up the garbage coming out of his mouth.

Let's petition to put the meaning of "Santorum = post-anal coitus juice"in the dictionary right away!!

What a bunch of meaningless garbage. He doesn't really say how the economy is impacted negatively... he just keeps saying that it is. If this is really all about protecting marriage, and protecting the family values of birth parents, why not have large protest gatherings against divorce, adultery, single-family parenting or adoption? And if the purpose of marriage is to have children, like he says, then he doesn't address straight couples that choose not to have children. That's right, no one protests those things because the things they're saying are important, really aren't important to them at all. The reality is that all this crap is just a red-herring for simple bigotry.

The reality is that most gay men do not have children. Some do, but most don't. And as a society, we contribute and provide subsidy to those who do have children, which is a large chunk of the local and federal government budget. And that's fine because we live in a civil society. But it's ridiculous to suggest that gay marriage is "harmful" to the economy. Because in fact, society benefits greatly from gay marriage without providing the same benefits in return to gay couples in every state.

He says, “marriage is a romantic relationship between people and then some” So what are you saying Rick? That people are supposed to have romantic relations with their spouse and then some romantic relations with other people? I think you are twisting everything so much, now you are confused even more than you were before. Or maybe you are for gay men marrying women, and having romantic relations with men on the side? In other words, how you want the system to work the way it always has in the past. Conclusion: Rick wants some man meet on the side.

and if a group supporting gay marriage was to pay him  lots of money  he would say the opposite  these people say anything that anyone who pays them want to hear or if they think it will get them votes

He is such a fucking dumbass. Why do people waste there time on this piece of "Santorum" (look it up kids)....

Based on what data. Marrige in America was declinig long before gay marriage. So Mr. Santorium where are you getting your data that gay marriage is affecting... anything?

Verbal diarrhea with no direction or point
